Xin chào, tên em là Hoài Bảo Phương, em hiện giờ 20 tuổi, và em đang theo nghành phẫu thuật tim. Em nghĩ rằng cuộc sống của người dân Việt Nam thực sự rất là thống nhất. Em tham gia cuộc thi này vì em muốn tăng cường ngôn ngữ việt Nam của mình. Em sinh ra ở Hoa Kỳ nên sự đóng góp cho người dân Việt Nam mình hơi bị hạn chế. Em muốn nhân dịp này hiểu rõ hơn và tìm hiểu thêm về nền văn hóa Việt Nam. Cha mẹ em luôn nhắc nhở em rằng em là một cô gái Việt Nam, vì vậy em phải tìm hiểu và không bao giờ quên về nền văn hóa Việt Nam của em. Em muốn tham gia cuộc thi này để trao đổi kiến thức, em thực sự muốn đóng góp cho xã hội của mình. Em muốn người kế tiếp để xem xét một phụ nữ Việt Nam và thấy rằng phụ nữ Vietnam mình là hoàn hảo về nhiều mặt. My name Hoai Bao Phuong I live a very conventional and customary life. I was born and elevated in San Diego, California. I learn to maintain my parent’s vietnamese cultural aspect, I took vietnamese classes to enhance my vietnamese knowledge mainly to be apart of my family. My brothers and Sister, however don’t accommodate me. I dont want to be known as a typical American girl, I want to be much more than that, I want to be acknowledge as a Vietnamese-American girl. I think school is the main idea of my life, I can’t possibly neglect my school work, leading to the disappointment of my parent. There are so many beautiful things about my heritage that I do not know of, and I wish to discern alot more about the lives of the Vietnamese people as well as the Vietnamese-American ones, and improve my Vietnamese language. A mere assertion I would like to make towards my intermediary is that I hope I get this opportunity to serve the vietnamese society and at the same time to enhance my knowledge to a higher level.
