#4. Lại Ngọc Phương Linh
As a first generation college student, I’ve been working on my prerequisite courses for a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and looking forward to finish it on time in order to transfer to Loma Linda University. My goal in the future is to become a successful dental hygienist who is dedicated to serving the Vietnamese community in advocating excellent oral health and maintaining beautiful smiles. I’m strongly believed that to achieve American dream, we need to give all the hard work to gain wealth and success.
I love eating a lot of foods, and one of my favorite is “ Bún mắm”. My hobby is write stories based on real life situations that inspire me to turn my emotions and tears into words. I’m my point of view, there comes a time when a person fully discovers oneself and acknowledges her full potential. To me, being loyal to myself and to other people that I love should be a part of a Vietnamese girl’s nature.
I believe this is a good opportunity for me to build up my confidence by wearing Ao dai to represent the beauty of Vietnam and also to contribute myself to my family and Vietnamese community. I hope that I will have a good experience in this friendly competition after joining the pageant. Thank you for supporting me.
