#17. Trần Thị Ngọc Diệu
Hi everyone! My name is Trần Thị Ngọc Diệu and I am contestant # 17. Don’t forget me! I am 20 years old and I currently attend San Diego Miramar College. In the near future, I plan on transferring to UCSD with a human biology major. I hope to one day become a pediatrician because like many others, I love seeing laughter on kids’ faces. I work well with kids and I live my life being the best role model I can be. I love to travel, so in the future I hope to travel the world. I would like to gain experiences that help me become a well rounded person. During my journey, I would like to help as many people as possible. My main goal in life is to have a career that I enjoy and have a beautiful, loving family.
In my free time, I like to rock climb, exercise, make people happy, and eat. I am positive, outgoing, caring, and dependable. You can always count on me to bring a smile to your face. My laugh alone will do the job. If you ever see me around, please don’t be afraid to say, hi. I love making new friends. I also like to volunteer in my free time. One day I will go to Vietnam and other countries to spread love and hope. I will help those less fortunate than I am and bring more happiness to their life by showing them a positive outlook.
I would like to thank my parents and my 3 older sisters for always being there for me. They encourage me to become an intelligent, kind, and strong woman. My family is my role model and I am thankful to have them in my life. When I am going through hardship, I think of how hard they’ve worked to be where they are today. This motivates me to fight for what I believe in and work even harder in school.
Thank you to all of my supporters! I have the best support system ever! I really appreciate you! Without you I would not have the courage to face my fear of public speaking and open myself up to learn more about the Vietnamese culture and community. Thank you all for taking the time to learn more about me. Be positive and keep a smile on. Happy New Year and I hope you all have a year full of laughter, happiness, health, and prosperity.
