From 2011...
Welcome to the Cultural Village 2011, with the theme "A Portrait of Country Life," we are envisioning a cozy place for Young and Old to come visit, learn and enjoy the feel of an exotic environment created for our fellow countrymen and foreign visitors to experience through the 3-day event, packed with Vietnamese traditions, history, education, entertainment and activities.
This year especially, our mission is to emphasize village life - a return to our agrarian roots. As Vietnam progresses into a developed nation, many of the traditional ways and customs of old are being lost. Cultural Village is a way for people experience country life. The village has always had central role in Vietnamese life. As the popular folk saying goes, "The emperor's law is no match against the village's custom."
Come and join us, dress up, help us improve the overall program and simply be a part of Cultural Village to add flavor and color to the "Heart of the Tết Festival."
