Kid’s Spotlight Contestants
Special thanks to Viet Ngu Van Lang Center and the sponsors!
As Vietnamese children grow up in foreign land, it is our responsibility to help them understand and preserve our culture. To accomplish this task, VAYA has created Kid’s Spotlight to help educate young Vietnamese Americans to have basic knowledge of their culture.
This competition is for Vietnamese American children between 4 to 12 years old. Kid’s Spotlight gives youth an opportunity to express the beauty, talent, and essence of Vietnamese traditions
Contestants (individual or group) will be judged on, but not limited to: charisma, ability to comfortably speak in Vietnamese, ability to answer questions, and ability to show talent(s).

3. Fluency
4. Talent
5. Overall performance/presentation
