The Vietnamese American Youth Alliance is proud to present San Diego’s 3rd Annual Lunar New Year “Tet” Festival, “Spring of Prosperity”. With San Diego being the 2nd largest Asian American community in California and the 8th largest in United States, we are proud to bring back last year's biggest San Diego Tet festival to America's Finest City again. Thanks to Barona, NBC 7/39, Union Tribune, other sponsors, and the community of San Diego whose collaborative efforts and continual support have made last year's Festival a great success!
Celebrating at Balboa Park (Corner of Park Blvd & Presidents Way) from February 8th through 10th 2008, VAYA aims to make this festival another milestone event by expanding the venue and increasing the participation of the broader community. VAYA Tet Festival serves to unite youths through promoting and preserving the Vietnamese culture. Through this event, sponsors have the opportunity to help youths directly impact the Vietnamese-American community of San Diego in maintaining tutoring programs, providing scholarships, promoting educational activities, and enhancing leadership training and development. VAYA is committed to expand this success for Tet Festival 2008 with even more distinctive cultural entertainment and exhibits that will entice festival attendees with excitement and joy.
