Dear Prospective Sponsors,
The Vietnamese-American Youth Alliance (VAYA) is proud to present San Diego’s Seventh Annual Lunar New Year Tet Festival. We are proud to bring San Diego’s biggest Tet Festival to America’s Finest City once more.
Thanks our sponsors, Harrah’s Rincon Hotel & Casino, CrabHut, San Diego Union-Tribune and many others, as well as the community of San Diego, whose collaborative efforts and continual support have made last year’s Festival a great success!
This year’s Tet Festival will be in Balboa Park at the corner of Park Boulevard and President’s Way from Jan 20th, 2012 through Jan 22md, 2012. Our goal is to make this festival a flagship Vietnamese cultural event by expanding our entertainment programs and cultural exhibits, and by increasing participation opportunities for community members.
Your contribution and sponsorship of this event have a direct impact on the lives of the youths in the San Diego Vietnamese-American communities. Your support helps VAYA maintains tutoring programs, provides scholarships, promotes educational activities, and enhances leadership training and development programs. Your contribution and support is also an opportunity for your business or organization to gain exposure to the Vietnamese-American community and to festival-going public at large. Our festival, on average over the
course of three days, attracts more 20,000 people.
It is a great opportunity for your business or organization to establish an on-going presence in the Vietnamese community, introduce new products or services and to tie non-profit investment strategy to your business development plan. As a 501(c)3 organization, all contributions to VAYA are tax deductible.
Whatever your contribution level, your organization will find tangible benefits and long-term value in participating in our festival. We offer comprehensive sponsorship packages tailored to your business’ needs and marketing objectives that allow for maximum public exposure and media coverage.
On behalf of VAYA, we would like to invite your company to take part in celebrating the diversity of San Diego by pledging your support. Please feel free to contact us should you have any further inquiries about our festival. To learn more about our organization, please visit our website, www.vayasd.org. We look forward to working with your organization on this occasion of great fun and fortune as we celebrate the Year of the Dragon in 2012.
